My first winter in Ireland. Not much snow here, but the swing in temperature creates something almost fairytale-like — frost settling over everything, wrapped in a grey-blue mist that softens every edge.
The bare trees stand like silhouettes in the fog, frozen mid-breath. There’s a stillness to it, a quiet I hadn’t quite felt before — like the whole landscape had paused, just for that one morning.
The original painting has found its home in a private collection.
