Commission a Painting

COMMISSION

A painting made just for you – a place, a memory, a feeling worth keeping close.

Work with me

If you’re someone who feels a landscape rather than just sees it – someone who has a place, a view, a memory that quietly means something – I’d love to paint it for you.

A commission isn’t just a custom painting. It’s a way of holding onto something that matters: the view from your childhood window, your favourite beach, the place where you got engaged, the mountains you used to hike with your dad, the family home. Something you can return to, again and again, whenever you need to.

  • We’ll work from a reference photo, but memory doesn’t always match the camera – and that’s fine. If the light was warmer, the season was different, or someone was standing there who isn’t in the photo, we can paint it the way you remember it, not just the way it was captured.
  • People, pets, or small personal details can be added as a quiet part of the landscape if they matter to the story.
  • Framing is available too — we can choose the size and frame together to suit your space and interior.
  • I’ll share sketches and progress along the way, so we’re both excited about the painting before a single stroke of colour goes down.

The commission process

1. Enquiry
Send a message with your idea, location, or reference photo. I’ll get back to you with next steps and pricing – this depends on the size and complexity of the piece.

2. Conversation
We’ll talk through the details over email, WhatsApp, or a video call – what the place means to you, what you’d like to see (or not see) in the painting, any changes from the original reference, and whether you’d like it framed, with size and frame chosen to suit your space.

3. Sketch & Approval
I’ll prepare an initial sketch for your approval before painting begins. A deposit secures your place and the timeline.

4. Painting
I’ll keep you updated with progress along the way. Turnaround is typically 1 to 3 months, depending on current workload and the complexity of the piece.

5. Delivery
Ready to hang, carefully packaged, and shipped to your door – within Ireland or internationally.

RECENT COMMISSIONS

Cuas Crome Beach, 2025, Acrylic on Canvas, 500 mm X 700 mm

This one was a joy to paint – a commissioned gift from a husband to his wife, to mark her birthday.
The painting captures Cuas Crome Beach, with the birthday girl herself depicted in the distance, gliding quietly across the calm water.
Creating a piece that carries this much meaning is always a responsibility I take to heart – and the best part was knowing she was truly delighted with her gift.
If you’ve ever wondered whether art makes a good gift – I’d say it’s one of the most romantic and lasting gestures there is.

What Tony says:

“I recently commissioned Tetiana to produce a bespoke painting for a gift for my wife’s birthday.
Tetiana was so easy to deal with and quickly understood what I was thinking of, working with me through photos of the location and some specific elements and changes. She delivered an amazing final piece in a really short space of time, and I was absolutely delighted with the result.
I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for that unique, bespoke piece of art for their home or business.
Thanks so much, Tetiana!”

Ballinskelligs Beach, 2025, Acrylic on Canvas, 1000 mm X 700 mm

A large-scale seascape of Ballinskelligs Beach, created through close dialogue with the collectors. I’m grateful for their trust, and for the chance to work on a piece of this scale.

This beach holds a special place in the client’s own story – a place from her childhood, where she spent countless summers. Now, her daughter plays on that very same sand. Painting that quiet continuity, one generation echoing another on the same shore, made this piece especially meaningful to create.

I always value that moment when a painting leaves the studio – when it stops being part of my daily process and begins its own life in a new space.

What Ciara says:

“I commissioned a painting with Tetiana after seeing her work.
She was great to work with, very thorough, very informative, and very fast.
I‘m delighted with the end result and would highly recommend her.”
