I’m excited to share that my first solo exhibition opens this July at St John’s Theatre & Arts Centre in Listowel, Co. Kerry.
I’m a Ukrainian artist who returned to painting after settling in Kerry, Ireland in 2022. This exhibition represents four years of looking closely at a place that wasn’t mine at first – and finding myself in it.
The Place That Found Me brings together landscape paintings created since I arrived in Kerry in 2022 – a collection shaped not by documentation, but by lived experience. These are the places that became familiar to me slowly: the roads I walk, the light I’ve learned to recognise, the views that stopped being unfamiliar and started feeling like home.
